About BLT Plus

What is BLT Plus 2011 all about?

The aim of the BLT Plus camp this year is to equip and prepare you to share your faith at the ends of the earth. Where is the end of the earth for you? Perhaps it is your school or university... it might be your workplace or even a foreign country.

Some of the topics covered will be: - Prayer for Evangelism - The Do's and Don'ts of Evangelism - Overcoming the fear of sharing the Gospel to others Along with many other ways to reach out to the near and the far.

Can I come part-time?

The campsite for BLT+ 2011 is at Bornhoffen PCYC, Natural Bridge (Gold Coast hinterland) over 1.5 hours drive from Brisbane, which may make it impractical to come part-time for this camp. It is also preferable that you come full-time to get the most out of the conference especially the strand material. Not to mention that we have some fantastic seminars in store which would be real shame to miss out on! If part-time is only option for you, please specify exactly when you plan to arrive and leave in “comments” section when you register. You will be contacted by someone on BLT committee on how much to pay.

Who is speaking?

Sam McGeown - Sam grew up in Northern Ireland, spent 12 years church planting in Japan, pastored a Japanese church in Melbourne, worked with a mission agency in the UK and is presently supporting churches and individuals in mission in Brisbane and beyond. He is married to Yoriko and they have 4 kids. In his spare time he likes to read, listen to music, watch soccer and doubles as a Brad Pitt lookalike.

What's the difference between BLT and BLT+?

BLT is the main training event of the year for training leaders, where as BLT+ is a weekend away to challenge you with the gospel so that you can keep going til the end of the year.
